I agree with Jess and Matt P.

I applaud the endurance and question the sanity of anyone who can call this record their album of the year (see also: Art Brut circa 2005), but it is full of unquestionable jams.

The only comparison that has really given me pause in my admiration for this record is “metal Ting Tings”! But I think the secret of its success is that it’s really short. And the only thing that’s actually hard going on it is “Straight As” which is something like 90 seconds long…
