In which synthpop tackles political bloodshed and the Edge. One of the latest comments on this video says “it’s better than the music now. fuck corporate deathpop.” but I think it would be more accurate to write “It’s better than the music now, fuck! Corporate Deathpop!”
This is a) a great record and b) the reason almost no UK pop stars tried “political” songs for the rest of the decade.
