I seem to have spent the entire day talking about music I don’t actually like, which is always a frustrating feeling. So here’s music I do like, the Salsoul Orchestra playing “Magic Bird Of Fire”, which I heard for the first time today. I think if I could go back in time to any point in pop it might be the mid-late 70s, when disco was the most opulent, dramatic, corny, grown-up and thrilling music on the planet simultaneously. Apparently there were other interesting things happening too but I defy you to care about them when this is playing.
